Biography

Mourning Wood is a folk metal band from the Netherlands, born in 2022 and raised on beer, bad ideas and loud music. We mix danceable folk tunes with metal riffs, so every show turns into a party you definitely didn’t plan for but somehow turned out great!

Since 2022 we’ve been touring across Europe, playing festivals in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium and the UK, and sharing stages with bands like Alestorm, Red Rum, Fiddler’s Green and Windrose. Every year the crowds get bigger, the stories get wilder, and the hangovers get… well, stronger.

So grab a drink, jump in the pit, and let’s make more questionable decisions together. Cheers!
